Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) occurs when overactive mast cells release excessive chemicals, triggering episodes that affect multiple organ systems. This is an informal gathering of supportive community members who are experiencing similar symptoms, usually involving two or more body systems at once, and would like to participate in an open discussion to share their experiences and learn from others. Please sign up so we know how many chairs to gather.

On the eve of Lunar New Year of the Horse, join us in celebrating eight years at our current location as the Santee Chamber of Commerce welcomes Santee Acupuncture as a new member. Meet all four practitioners, tour the cozy clinic, enter a raffle, and help yourself to assorted nibbles. We will also enjoy a lion dancing performance by our friends at White Dragon of East County during this Open House event.

This tea party includes a selection of seasonal, herbal teas served with delicious, organic, savory foods and sweet treats, which will all be presented from a perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As you enjoy conversation with like-minded participants, learn about herbal properties and functions, and food as medicine, before closing out the experience with a relaxing hour of sound healing.
